McKenzie Event Lighting

McKenzie Event Lighting is a locally owned and operated full-service event lighting company for weddings, private parties, and business functions in Charleston and beyond.

We created an identity that connects to their target audience - event planners in the wedding industry. Using a completely custom and elegant serif font for the wordmark conveys their work's bespoke and elevated nature. Along with a minimal and muted color palette featuring natural colors, the identity is high-end yet approachable and grounded. The looped “M” brand mark resembles string lights and draping, connecting back to their primary services. The looped lines mimicking an M can also be found as background graphics.
